if&when is a literary magazine that aims to not only present creativity, but foster it. To that end, issues not only include short fiction, short creative nonfiction, poetry and single literary lines, but also activities and prompts to encourage picking up a pen and writing.
The magazine is made in San Luis Obispo, California, but we accept submissions from anywhere.
Issues are available for $15 each. Digital PDF issues are available for $5 each.
if&when accepts previously unpublished submissions all year round in four categories: short creative nonfiction, short fiction, poetry, and literary lines.
Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but let us know immediately if the work is accepted elsewhere.
Send your submissions to email@example.com in a word document, attached to an email with a subject line of “[Genre], [Last name].” Include first and last name, phone number and mailing address in the body of your email. Submissions that don’t abide by our guidelines will not be considered.
Thank you, and good luck!
